Science Experiment

Making a Battery Out of a Lemon

1.) Take one lemon and one penny, and one dime, plus two wires with clips , and a flashlight battery      

2.) Squeeze the lemon to break up the pulp.

3.) Have an adult cut two slots into the lemon with a knife

4.) Put the penny and the dime into the slots

5.) Attach one wire to the penny, and one to the dime

6.) Attach the wires to a flashlight bulb.  You have made a lemon battery!
